Changelog

Everything shipped for CardLeverage, newest first — the running record of ongoing work.

Last reviewed July 22, 2026

  1. Company Hub

    • Added a private company hub at /hq — one link that indexes the brand guide, site analytics, the changelog, and the public links page.
    • Changelog: this page — a dated record of everything shipped for CardLeverage, newest first.
    • Links: a public link-in-bio page, ready to drop into a social profile.
    • Analytics: a branded traffic dashboard, built and ready to light up as soon as the Google Analytics property is connected.
    • The brand guide now sits inside the hub, with a back-link and the date it was last reviewed.
    • Every hub page except the links page is unlisted and blocked from search engines — shareable by URL, invisible to Google.
    • Added a sitemap, which the site had been pointing search engines at without ever publishing one.
  2. AI search visibility

    • Opened the site up to AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google and Apple's crawlers can now read the public pages.
    • Added structured data describing the product, the organization, and the FAQ, so search engines and chatbots quote CardLeverage accurately.
    • Published a plain-language summary file that AI crawlers read to understand what the product does.
  3. Traffic measurement

    • Connected Google Analytics, so visits, referrers and popular pages are now being recorded.
  4. Theme control

    • Added a three-way theme switch — System, Light, or Dark — in the header of every page.
    • The site now follows your device's appearance setting by default, and remembers your choice if you override it.
  5. Brand and sharing polish

    • Complete favicon set, tested down to 16×16, plus the app icons phones use when the site is saved to a home screen.
    • Every marketing page now generates its own preview card, so links unfurl with a proper title and image when shared.
    • Consistent footer across the whole site.
  6. Wallet view, credit scores, and alerts

    • Wallet view: your cards rendered as actual cards, stacked the way they sit in a wallet.
    • Credit dashboard: track scores from each bureau over time, entered by hand until a bureau feed is connected.
    • Smart alerts: eight background checks that watch for expiring benefits, sign-up-bonus deadlines, annual fees coming due and 5/24 changes — delivered by email and an in-app notification bell.
  7. Automation and household support

    • Application decision engine: a go / no-go answer for any card, with the specific rule that decides it and the best alternatives if the answer is no.
    • Gmail auto-poll: statements arriving in your inbox are picked up automatically instead of being entered by hand.
    • Statement parser: upload a statement and have the spending, fees and balances read out of it.
    • AI chat: describe your wallet in plain language and have it turned into reviewable draft changes you approve before anything is saved.
    • Household and authorized users: track a spouse's cards and authorized-user links alongside your own.
    • Education: a full explainer on FICO versus VantageScore, plus tooltips wherever a score appears.
  8. Full rebuild — the app as it stands today

    • Rebuilt CardLeverage from scratch on a production stack, deployed live.
    • Accounts, onboarding, and a dashboard showing your application velocity at a glance.
    • Encrypted card vault: sensitive numbers are encrypted at rest, revealing one requires re-authentication, and every reveal is logged.
    • Trackers for card benefits, sign-up bonuses, churn timing, utilization, and annual-fee ROI.
    • Recommendation engine that ranks your next card on your own wallet and spending — by value, never by commission.
    • Education hub with 30 guides, a points calculator, and an annual benefits calendar.
    • Demo mode so the whole app can be explored with a fictional wallet, no signup.
    • The brand guide at /brand.
  9. First web app

    • The first working version: card dashboard, benefit tracking, bonus tracking, education, and recommendations.
  10. CardLeverage

    • The project took its name, and got a landing page, a logo, and a light/dark toggle.
